Portugal vs Chile – 1/ X / 2

A couple of more familiar teams compared to my recent previews! It’s too close to call for the ticket opener, Portugal’s semi-final with Chile could go either way with neither side having really convinced at the Confederations Cup so far. All eyes will be on the head-to-head between Cristiano Ronaldo and Alex is Sanchez. I’m just going to enjoy the game for this one!

Germany vs Mexico – 1 / X / 2

An experimental Germany squad conceded in all three of their group games but then so too did Mexico, who have actually fallen behind in every game en route to the semi-finals. Timo Werner looked clinical against Cameroon last time out and should get the nod and if the Germans do go ahead, I certainly don’t see them losing.

Bray vs Dundalk – X / 2

Reigning champions Dundalk are well off the pace of Cork City this season but have picked up their form of late with three consecutive wins. Bray are just one place behind in third but seven points separate the sides and their home form has been patchy of late. The visitors last three away games have seen them score 11 goals and concede 0, so a home win seems unlikely.

Drogheda vs Limerick – X / 2

Speaking of unlikely home wins, relegation threatened Drogheda are without a victory in 9 league matches, with five of said matches played in front of their own fans. Limerick aren’t in any great form themselves but they haven’t lost to their hosts in the last six meetings between the sides and I don’t see that changing here.

St. Patrick’s vs Galway – 1 / X

A massive game between the Airtricity League’s two bottom clubs, St. Patrick’s will be desperate to make their home advantage count. They’ve managed just two wins in nine as hosts thus far but face a Galway side that have failed to win a single game on the road in 10 attempts this season, while picking up just one point from their last six matches in total.

Omiya Ardija vs Yokohama – 2

After a dreadful start to the J-League season, Omiya Ardija have won back-to-back games for the first time, though it should be noted that said victories came against the divisions bottom two sides. Yokohama, meanwhile, are in fantastic form winning five of their last six league games and drawing the other. This looks to be the most predictable game on the Pick 8 ticket.

Kawasaki vs Vissel Kobe – 1 / X

A meeting with Vissel Kobe will put Kawasaki’s unbeaten home record this season to the test, with only two sides having picked up more points on the road thus far. That said the hosts enter the game in more encouraging form, with 13 points from their last six league outings, while the visitors have lost three of their last four.

GIF Sundvall vs Sirius – 2

It’s been a strong start to the season from newly-promoted Sirius, while GIF Sundvall already look like being involved in another battle against relegation from the Allsvenskan. The hosts have lost three on the bounce and their only home victory this season came against bottom club Eskilstuna. The two sides have met three times in Sundsvall in the last three years, with Sirius coming out on top in all three.
