Ludlow Place 6 preview | 27th November

12.35 – Racing TV Club Day Maiden Hurdle – 1m7f

NATHANAEL GREENE was the best of these on the level, given he achieved a rating as high as 90, and he’s an interesting addition to the hurdle ranks. THE FAMOUS FIVE has only been seen twice for his in-form trainer, Venetia Williams, but contested a Grade 2 on his stable debut before a decent third here next time. Twice a winner in France, this five-year-old should be hard to kick out of the frame.

Tips: NATHANAEL GREENE, THE FAMOUS FIVE

13.05 – Flowfit Handicap Hurdle – 1m7f

BREAKING COVER has hit the frame in both starts so far in this sphere and only found an odds-on favourite too good last time. He wouldn’t need to improve much more to open his account. CAPTAIN ATTRIDGE was tentatively ridden to take sixth at Stratford last time and had previously finished third over C&D, so he must enter calculations.

Tips: BREAKING COVER, CAPTAIN ATTRIDGE

13.40 – Marsh Commercial Novices’ Handicap Chase – 2m7f

GALLOW FORD travelled nicely for a long way on his return at Warwick before a lack of a run took its toll. He will be fitter now, plus he’s 10Ib lower than when he last scored, albeit that win came over hurdles. He’s a major player on just his third start over fences. BALLYRASHANE didn’t offer much over hurdles but is bred to be a better chaser and can be included.

Tips: GALLOW FORD, BALLYRASHANE

14.15 – Racing Welfare Handicap Hurdle – 2m7f

THE SCORPION KING stepped up on previous hurdles efforts when third in a Taunton maiden in January and the handicapper has reduced his mark 2Ib. He should be competitive, while MOVIE KING has performed with credit the last two times and looks poised to give a solid account of himself in what is a weak-ish race.

Tips: THE SCORPION KING, MOVIE KING

14.50 – Flowfit Handicap Chase – 1m7f

The top-weight NOT AVAILABLE won three times over fences earlier this year and although his recent efforts over hurdles have been disappointing, a bigger performance should be forthcoming in this grade. YOU SAY NOTHING has won three of his last six starts and if he is ready for his reappearance, he might continue where he left off last season. Excellent chance.

Tips: NOT AVAILABLE, YOU SAY NOTHING

15.20 – Marsh Commercial Mares’ Novices’ Handicap Hurdle – 2m5f

COOLEENYMORE was suited to the step up in distance when second earlier this month at Chepstow and a very useful conditional jockey in the shape of Joe Anderson can claim a handy 5Ib. A lot of her rivals have plenty to prove at present, so this is a great opening for the seven-year-old to get a first win under her belt. BANKER.

Tips: COOLEENYMORE
