Kempton Place 6 preview | 14th December

15.30 – Unibet Horserace Betting Operator Of The Year Handicap – 7f

SATIN LAKE is drawn wide but he’s improved in each of his two starts for his current handler and shaped well when third over C&D when last spotted. He needs consideration off a pound lower mark here; while FULL INTENTION scored in nice style at Chelmsford a few days ago and is weighted to go close in this race too. He has a good chance.

Selections: SATIN LAKE, FULL INTENTION

16.00 – Racing TV Restricted Maiden Fillies’ Stakes – 1m

LADY OF ARABIA has gone close in both starts to date which have come at Wolverhampton and the latest second to an odds-on favourite reads solid form. This filly could have been drawn a bit lower than nine but she is open to a lot more improvement and has excellent claims of going one place better here.

Selections: LADY OF ARABIA

16.30 – British Stallion Studs EBF Novice Stakes

This race could be worth following long-term and LUNATICK, who shaped with promise when sixth on debut over C&D, could be a big player with that experience under his belt. Hughie Morrison’s charge is a key player, while POSTMAN’S PARK also ran well when fourth over C&D on debut and is expected to improve. He could be tough to beat here.

Selections: LUNATICK, POSTMAN’S PARK

17.00 – Unibet Extra Place Offers Every Day Nursery – 1m

HADLEY PARK won impressively on his penultimate start at Chelmsford and came within a neck of doubling his tally next time when second at Wolverhampton. He probably would have won that race easily without being asked for his effort sooner than ideal and essentially, he is drawn well in stall two. He should have little difficulty in making it two wins from his last three starts with James Doyle in the saddle.

Selections: HADLEY PARK

17.30 – Unibet/British Stallion Studs EBF Novice Stakes – 7f

It’s hard to see AL ALAALI out of the frame here, who ran a nice race when seventh on his debut at Newmarket before running a sound race to finish third at Chelmsford last time. The winner of that race looks useful and Simon Crisford’s charge is open to improvement on just his second start on the all-weather and his experience will count for plenty too. He should be firmly in the mix, as he’s the one to beat.

Selections: AL ALAALI

18.00 – Unibet 3 Uniboosts A Day Handicap – 7f

HICKORY is unbeaten in two starts and returned from a long absence to win impressively over C&D seven weeks ago. This is clearly a much tougher race but he’s a promising sort and could be up to the task ahead on handicap debut. I wouldn’t dismiss ARCTICIAN though, who has a pretty solid record on the all-weather and has fallen to a career-low mark.

Selections: HICKORY, ARCTICIAN
