Kempton Place 6 betting preview | September 28th

17.00 – Unibet/Support British Racing EBF Fillies’ Novice Stakes (GBB Race) – 6f

Selections: Novus, Pinafore

NOVUS shaped very well on debut to finish fourth when only beaten a length considering she blew the start. A break will have done her good and she’s drawn well in stall 5, so she should be thereabouts. PINAFORE stepped up from her debut effort to finish second at Yarmouth last time and is feared most.

17.30 – Unibet Horserace Betting Operator Of The Year/EBF Restricted Novice Stakes (GBB Race) – 1m

Selections: Kyogo

KYOGO couldn’t justify favouritism last time but either way he has to be considered having finished runner-up in both starts to date and the return to this longer trip on his all-weather debut could be the key to unlocking progression. He is drawn well in stall 5 and his trainer continues to go well, so it’s hard to see him out of the frame here.

18.00 – Unibet 3 Uniboosts A Day Handicap – 1m

Selections: Rebel Territory, Positive Impact

REBEL TERRITORY wasn’t suited to the pace of the race last time but retains potential and given he’s won three of his last six starts and is unexposed on this surface, he is a player under Jim Crowley. POSITIVE IMPACT is developing a consistent profile and arrives on the back of two solid seconds. He should be fully effective on this surface and doesn’t look handicapped out of things, so I can see him going well here.

18.30 – Unibet Extra Place Offers Every Day Handicap – 1m2f

Selections: Savvy Knight, True Courage

SAVVY KNIGHT has been largely disappointing the last two times but he won his first three starts and ran well when fourth in the King George V Handicap at Royal Ascot back in June, so he’s a player if able to bounce back. TRUE COURAGE has looked rejuvenated back on the all-weather, winning the last twice, including here, and may well complete the hat-trick.

19.00 – Try Our New Price Boosts At Unibet Handicap – 1m2f

Selections: Ve Day, Sea Of Solomon

VE DAY has offered promise in a few of his starts without being able to threaten and could offer more for his powerful stable. SEA OF SOLOMON won three times this summer and while he’s come up short the last twice at this level, he still has time on his side and shouldn’t be far away if able to produce his best.

19.30 – Unibet Support Safe Gambling Handicap (Div 1) – 7f

Selections: Unsung Hero, Broxi

UNSUNG HERO put in a good shift when scoring over C&D twelve days ago and remains less exposed than most here, so he has to be feared in his current mood with more to come. BROXI is another in great form and while he’s forced to carry top-weight, he could be up to completing the three-timer.
