18.15 Sky Bet For The Fans Handicap

ROCK OPERA often finds trouble given his run-style but he’s become so well-handicapped and has achieved most of his wins and placed efforts off higher marks in tougher events.  He finished an unlucky fourth when last seen over C&D and is 9lb lower in the handicap, so with a clear run, I’m hopeful he will go close.  I thought he was very unfortunate not to win off this career-low mark at Thirsk when third last time out. Big, big chance with his rider taking off a handy 5lb.
