Hamilton Place 6 preview | 14th August

18.10 – Book Your Tickets At hamilton-park.co.uk ‘Hands And Heels’ Apprentice Handicap – 5f

IMPRESSOR has won three of his last four starts and was dominant in winning here nine days ago. He is in his element under the testing ground and is the one to beat on current form. REFUGE is a four-time C&D winner and also goes well under softer conditions; so is the main danger to the favourite.

Tips: IMPRESSOR, REFUGE

18.40 – EBF Restricted Maiden Stakes – 6f

SHE’SASHAMBLES offered plenty of promise when fourth of 10 on debut at Beverley, making some eye-catching late progress, and could take a bit of beating with that experience under her belt. GONE ROGUE could go well on debut and has already attracted plenty of support.

Tips: SHE’SASHAMBLES, GONE ROGUE

19.10 – Hamilton Park Restricted Maiden Stakes – 1m3f

DREAMS ADOZEN has made the frame in her last four starts and is down in grade after finishing second at Chester. She could open her account, while WEIGH ANCHOR ran her best race to date when second at Haydock and has a chance with a repeat performance.

Tips: DREAMS ADOZEN, WEIGH ANCHOR

19.40 – Allstone Group Scottish Trophy Handicap – 1m1f

A few of these have a chance including CRACKOVIA who will find this easier than the race he contested here last time. She was fourth in a warm-looking Listed race on her return that has worked out well and might be able to run to her best in this race. She is well-handicapped.

Tips: CRACKOVIA

20.10 – Allstone ‘William The Lion’ Handicap – 6f

LOVE DE VEGA will benefit from the drop in grade and has a lower mark than when last successful. He could go well, as could IRIS DANCER, a three-time C&D winner who ran well under similar conditions here last time. She would have been closer with a clear passage and should be competitive getting weight from the rest.

Tips: LOVE DE VEGA, IRIS DANCER

20.40 – Hampton By Hilton Hamilton Park Handicap – 1m4f

SPIRIT OF ASH lacks consistency but she ran well off this mark two starts back at Musselburgh when second and could feature if she handles conditions. ZEPHLYN returned a good third at this course last month and should again go well from only a pound higher mark.

Tips: SPIRIT OF ASH, ZEPHYLN
