Fairyhouse Win 6 preview | 1st December
12.00 Bar One Racing ‘Bet 10 Get 50 Sign Up Offer’ Irish EBF Mares Handicap Chase
Dual hurdle winner BROOMFIELD BIJOU has taken well to chasing, bagging a win and two placed efforts from four starts. She looks poised to go well, while the consistent MUST BE OBEYED is a course winner, and her stable is in good form. She must be feared having her sights lowered.
Tips: BROOMFIELD BIJOU & MUST BE OBEYED
12.30 Bar One Racing ‘Price Boosts Across All Channels’ Juvenile Hurdle (Grade 3)
WILLY DE HOUELLE was last seen running a solid race to finish second in a Listed race at Auteuil and has since joined the powerful team of Willie Mullins. She is likely to prove difficult to beat. COUL DREAMER impressed on his hurdle debut at Punchestown, though, and must be respected.
Tips: WILLY DE HOUELLE & COUL DREAMER
13.05 Bar One Racing ‘Guaranteed Overnight Prices’ Porterstown Handicap Chase (Listed)
The in-form OUTSIDE THE DOOR should be thereabouts, while the likes of PEACHES AND CREAM, MY IMMORTAL, and DAILY PRESENT have the form in the book to go well. Another to consider is Cork National winner SPHAGNUM.
Tips: OUTSIDE THE DOOR, PEACHES AND CREAM, MY IMMORTAL, DAILY PRESENT & SPHAGNUM
13.35 Bar One Racing Royal Bond Novice Hurdle (Grade 2)
Champion Bumper runner-up ROMEO COOLIO impressed on his hurdle debut, where he jumped beautifully and pulled clear to score by 18 lengths. Gordon Elliott’s charge has the credentials to reach the very top of the novice hurdle division, so with improvement to come, he’s fancied to take the rise in grade in his stride.
Tips: ROMEO COOLIO
14.05 Bar One Racing Drinmore Novice Chase (Grade 1)
It’s hard to see past FIREFOX, who made an impressive chase debut at Down Royal and has the potential to be one of the best novice chasers this season. He placed in three Grade 1’s over hurdles last campaign and was unlucky not to win one of those. He defeated Ballyburn over hurdles here, too, so he should be able to have the measure of Heart Wood.
Tips: FIREFOX
14.40 Bar One Racing Hatton’s Grace Hurdle (Grade 1)
What a race in prospect! It would be foolish to rule one of them out, so both LOSSIEMOUTH and TEAHUPOO must be included. The former has only tasted defeat once in her career and was electric over this distance last time out. She goes well when fresh and has an excellent chance. Stayers’ Hurdle winner Teahupoo will ensure the mare doesn’t have it all her own way and should make a bold bid to win this for the third consecutive year.
Tips: LOSSIEMOUTH & TEAHUPOO
