Exeter Place 6 preview | 23rd February

13.30 – Winners Choose My Pension Expert Novices’ Limited Handicap Chase

HURRICANE HIGHWAY was unlucky not to win on his second chase start at Chepstow, and although he was behind TOP OF THE BILL over C&D last month, he is 8Ib better off this time around. He could reverse the form, but the latter is also included, as he returned an impressive winner.

Tips: HURRICANE HIGHWAY, TOP OF THE BILL

14.03 – My Pension Expert Unlocks Pension Potential Maiden Hurdle

MAD MIKE won at Chepstow last time out before being demoted, and compensation could await him if he’s in similar form. MILAN AC is an interesting newcomer for the Rebecca Curtis team, with Harry Cobden booked to ride. He can be recognised as the main danger.

Tips: MAD MIKE, MILAN AC

14.33 – My Pension Expert: Your Trusted Advisers Mares’ Handicap Hurdle

ENDLESS ESCAPE gained four wins over hurdles last season and has steadily improved in each of his three chase starts. He should be thereabouts back over hurdles, while DOLLY DELIGHTFUL only found one too good over C&D when last spotted and is feared most.

Tips: ENDLESS ESCAPE, DOLLY DELIGHTFUL

15.05 – Don’t Retire Without My Pension Expert Novices’ Hurdle

SPIRITS BAY won two of his three bumper starts and shaped with promise when second on his hurdles debut. He was in the process of running well behind Dysart Enos at Cheltenham last time out before he fell at the last hurdle. He can deservedly open his account in this sphere.

Tips: SPIRITS BAY

15.40 – My Pension Expert Devon National Handicap Chase

MR VANGO beat subsequent Edinburgh National winner Inis Oirr on his stable debut at Haydock and has made the frame in two of his four starts since, including on his chase debut last time. He is the most interesting runner and could relish this marathon trip, while FOXBORO bolted up over C&D in his penultimate start and can also be shortlisted.

Tips: MR VANGO, FOXBORO

16.10 – My Pension Expert: Advisers Of Champions Handicap Hurdle

BELLS OF PETERBORO enhanced his fine record at Chepstow last time out with a wide-margin success having been left in the clear and is worth consideration returned to hurdles. Of the others, STRIKING A POSE, who won at this course last time, could be heavily involved if he’s able to replicate that performance in this race.

Tips: BELLS OF PETERBORO, STRIKING A POSE
