Doncaster Place 6 betting preview | November 25th

12.00 – ICD UK Members ‘Hands & Heels’ Handicap Hurdle (Conditional & Amateur Jockeys’) – 3m

CAIUS MARCIUS arrives in good form having won two of his last three starts and Nicky Richards’ team continue in good form. This eleven-year-old drops in grade and has won off much higher marks in the past, so he cannot be ruled out given the form he’s in at the moment.

Selections: CAIUS MARCIUS

12.35 – More Than A Flake Handicap Chase – 2m

OSCARS LEADER won twice over fences last term and returns off only a two pounds higher mark than when gaining his second of his two victories at Newcastle. He has a big weight to carry but he is capable when fresh and should be thereabouts. FUSAIN will find this easier than the Grade Two he contested last time and cannot be dismissed with more to come in the UK.

Selections: OSCARS LEADER, FUSAIN

13.10 – Eden Farm Hulleys Novices’ Hurdle – 2m4f

This can go to HURRICANE BAY, who almost made a winning hurdles debut at Wetherby last month and this race represents a drop in grade with Bryony Frost maintaining the partnership too. Lucy Wadham’s charge is open to plenty of improvement and is fancied to go one better.

Selections: HURRICANE BAY

13.45 – Kellys Soft Mix Handicap Chase – 2m3f

BARTON KNOLL looked in need of his return at Newbury last time and has clearly been targeted at this race as he’s won this race for the last two years under this rider. He is only two pounds above his last winning mark and, with an overall record at this course reading U111, he can make another bold bid to win this race for the third consecutive year.

Selections: BARTON KNOLL

14.20 – Kelly’s Ice Cream Junior ‘National Hunt’ Hurdle – 2m

OUR FOLLET was well-supported on stable/hurdles debut and was travelling best and looking the most likely winner until falling at the third last hurdle earlier this month. He clearly has a lot of ability, so in the hope he can keep his eye on the job this time round, he could easily make amends here.

Selections: OUR FOLLET

14.55 – Walls 100 Years Novices’ Handicap Chase – 2m7f

EVERYDAY CHAMPAGNE is making his seasonal/chase debut but he was pretty decent over hurdles and he could advance his form in this sphere. Nicky Richards’ six-year-old ran to a good level over hurdles and, with a clear round, he has strong claims here.

Selections: EVERYDAYCHAMPAGNE
