Last week’s Pick 15 was won by 1.34 Units as 2 solo players and 1 Syndicate successfully navigated the pool. The weather played a part as Motherwell v Aberdeen (leg 11) had to be postponed meaning the guarantee was revised from its usual £800,000 to £250,000. But the ‘Beast from the East’ couldn’t put a halt to some great punts!

With 44 contributions in total, bbtipster’s £153.60 ticket was playing for a possible £25,000. Having managed to get through Tuesday’s 6 legs without a blemish, the Captain Cashed Out 30% of the ticket just prior to kick off in leg 8 (Athletic Bilbao v Valencia) on Wednesday. This Cash Out (£314.20) meant that all those who joined were assured double their stakes, and the ticket was still playing for £17,500.
A second Cash Out (for 20%) was made before the start of leg 14 on Friday which banked a further £1,044.10 for the Syndicate. They were now left with 50% ownership of the ticket going for a potential £12,500. They were in need of 2 home wins from Friday’s final 2 legs. Nice grabbed a winner with 10 minutes left to play to keep the dream alive, before Middlesbrough made swift work of Leeds. Bang – they had won! What a night for bbtipster & Co. as he followed up a victory in the Pick 15 by winning an NBA Point Margin Pick 5 pool!
Having gotten through 3 legs on Wednesday night, he Cashed Out 30% of his ticket for £52.69 on Thursday morning, effectively allowing the Syndicate to free-roll for the remaining 2 legs.
The 3 final legs sailed in and resulted in a £4,636 dividend for the 20 contributors involved. Adding to the Cash Out, they won a total of £4,689. Therefore if you’d have staked £4.80 (10% share) into this Syndicate ticket, you would have been returned with over £468!!!
Radiohead Syndicate takes a serious profit in a Pick 8
This Pick 8 proved to be a difficult one with unfancied draws at Southampton, Leicester and RB Leipzig as well as Roma winning away at high-flying Napoli.
Radiohead was joined by 7 other contributors to his ticket £57.60 ticket. Incredibly, the pool was only won by 0.9 units.
A 30% Cash Out prior to Napoli v Roma for £71 meant the Syndicate was guaranteed a profit, albeit small. Roma winning was a bonanza for the Syndicate as it nearly killed the pool, with the exception of Radiohead’s classy ticket. Their total payout was £865! Well played that man!
