Colossus Weekend Winners Review

It was another successful weekend for Solo and Syndicate players. Here is a review of the weekly highlights!

Another InPlayMan AH consolation winner

INPLAY MAN

For the second week running InPlayMan captained his Syndicate to a healthy return. It looked bleak after Saturday’s 3pm kick off’s as Leicester only managed a draw against Stoke whilst Brighton produced a cracking performance at home to Swansea. Despite this early setback, InPlay man covered each winning selection after and held his nerve rejecting any Cash Out offer to deliver 18/20 and £5,318 for his Syndicate.

FreePlay consolations for SunBets player !

SunBets

This punter would have been delighted with his dividend from a FreePlay in our Pick 6 pool. They would have been forgiven for giving up after the first 2 legs. A last gasp Dan Gosling equaliser for Bournemouth would have been disheartening with leg 1 moments away from landing and Brighton comfortably seeing off Swansea in leg 2. That was the end of the disappointment for the SunBets player as late goals from Troy Deeney and Harry Kane secured 1-0 wins for Watford and Tottenham, advancing the ticket to leg 5.

Two blockbusters set up the final legs. Lingard and Lukaku produced a goal each to overturn Willian’s opener at Old Trafford. Going into the final leg and Carabao cup final all Cash Out offer’s were rejected, perhaps unknowingly after the disappointing first 2 legs. The final ended up being a comprehensive 3-0 victory for City and an embarrassing performance from the Gunners. It wouldn’t have mattered to this player as he claimed over £2,200 from a FreePlay despite the unfavourable start.

Single liner wins Pick 4 rollover

ROLLOVER SINGLE LINER

The final addition to our winner’s review is an impressive single liner in our Pick 4 rollover. The Champions League focused pool kicked off with Chelsea vs Barcelona and Bayern Munich vs Besiktas. The results of these legs were favorited at the start with a tight game at Stamford Bridge ending 1-1 and an early Besiktas red card a major factor in Bayern’s 5-0 home victory.

Following the trend this punter rejected their Cash Out offer to let it all ride on the final 2 legs. It was the correct decision, as Seville and United played out a dreary 0-0 in Spain with De Gea making two key saves for the red devils. Whilst this was occurring, Shakhtar came back from 1-0 down to win 2-1 against Roma, thanks to a thunderous free kick from Fred. It would have been met by an equally thunderous reception as this player netted a cool £3,363 from a £2 stake.
