Brighton Place 6 preview | 13th June

13.50 – BresBet: Back To Bookmaking Apprentice Handicap – 6f

BEAR TO DREAM won over C&D last summer and this dual course winner has a good record at this venue. She ran well here two weeks ago over the minimum distance and is a pound lower than when last successful here, so she makes plenty of appeal. VOODOO BAY should be better suited to the return to 6f and has Harry Davies on his back, so he could go well as well.

Tips: BEAR TO DREAM, VOODOO BAY

14.20 – BresBet Rewards Loyalty Restricted Maiden Stakes – 5f

ROYAL BLAZE shaped with a lot of promise when fifth on debut at Goodwood and is sure to build on that here now eased in grade. He is Dougie Costello’s only ride at the course and Marcus Tregoning’s only runner here which is interesting indeed. Good chance. I’ll cover GRISE though, who has offered promise in both starts to date and won’t be far away with Amy Murphy’s team in flying form at present.

Tips: ROYAL BLAZE, GRISE

14.50 – Follow BresBet On Twitter Classified Stakes – 5f

MASTER SULLY has hit the frame the last two times over C&D and a reproduction of his C&D near-miss last month when second would definitely be enough to see him home in front against this field. MR PC has only ever won once but is capable of having a say off this mark and placed three times at this course last year off higher marks. I will be surprised if the winner doesn’t come from one of these two.

Tips: MASTER SULLY, MR PC

15.20 – BresBet Supports Rising Stars Classified Stakes – 1m3f

GREEK GIANT won very easily at Lingfield last week and the quick turnaround shouldn’t be an issue, as he’s likely to take all of the beating if in similar form for this race. OPTIK is gradually finding his feet and ran his best race to date when second three weeks ago. He should go well, as should ANGEL DE LUZ, the mount of Billy Loughnane, who is having a remarkable season.

Tips: GREEK GIANT, OPTIK, ANGEL DE LUZ

15.50 – Download The BresBet App Handicap – 1m1f

MICKEY MONGOOSE ran a solid race when fourth at Carlisle last-time-out and is on the same mark for this race. He is definitely one to consider, as he should be winning soon, while DEED POLE is consistent and was a good third at this course two weeks ago. He should be right in the mix at the business end of this race.

Tips: MICKEY MONGOOSE, DEED POLE

16.20 – Royal Ascot Form Study On attheraces.com Handicap – 7f

PANNING FOR GOLD scored with a fair bit in hand on his second go in a handicap at Yarmouth and while he has to shoulder a penalty now, he is the one to beat. Most of the remainder are struggling for form at present, so this is an excellent opportunity for him to double his tally for connections.

Tips: PANNING FOR GOLD
