Yarmouth Place 6 Preview | 17th September

14.15 Moss And C0 Hospitality Nursery

WHISKEY GALORE ran a good race when second at Lingfield last time out and would have won with a clear passage. This is a fine opportunity for him to go one place better with Billy Loughnane taking over in the saddle.

Tips: WHISKEY GALORE

14.45 EBF Restricted Maiden Stakes

WYKEHURST PARK was slow to break on debut at Kempton but kept on strongly once the penny dropped to finish a staying-on third. He will have learned a lot from that experience and could prove tough to beat on this occasion.

Tips: WYKEHURST PARK

15.15 Dan Hague, Rails Bookmaker Nursery

SOLDIER OF THE SEA wasn’t disgraced when fourth at Ascot last time out and beat a horse on debut at Ffos Las that has won three on the spin since. William Knight’s contender must have leading claims.

Tips: SOLDIER OF THE SEA

15.45 Boodles Handicap

KODI LION returned to winning ways off a reduced mark at Haydock when last seen, so although he’s been hit with a harsh 8lb rise on the handicap, the five-year-old can have a say in the outcome. MIDNIGHT THUNDER is the other one to consider on the back of a fine second at Thirsk.

Tips: KODI LION & MIDNIGHT THUNDER

16.15 Goffs Two Million Series Handicap

HEROICS made it two wins from his last three starts with victory at Wolverhampton last month and is open to further improvement back on the grass. He’s only 4lb higher for that latest win so Alan King’s candidate should be competitive.

Tips: HEROICS

16.45 White Swan Fishermans Fortune Handicap

Perhaps the most competitive race on the card with the narrow vote going to HINT OF THE JUNGLE. He had only found one too good on his previous three starts before scrambling home at Chepstow last time out. Off a 2lb higher mark following a break, the five-year-old should be thereabouts.

Tips: HINT OF THE JUNGLE
