Salisbury Place 6 Preview | 3rd September
13.53 Al Basti Equiworld, Dubai Apprentice Handicap
PRINCE RASAM hasn’t won since debut but ran a good race when second last time out and returns following a mini break off only a pound higher mark. He should go well, as should VIRTUE PATIENCE. He’s down to a career-low mark and must be feared at this level.
Tips: PRINCE RASAM & VIRTUE PATIENCE
14.28 Al Basti Equiworld, Dubai Restricted Novice Stakes
NIGHT STAR has the experience and form to go very close to winning this event. He’s placed on his last couple of starts at Doncaster and should be bang in contention. MY BOY turned in a promising effort on debut at Newmarket when fourth and is another that should improve to have a say in the outcome.
Tips: NIGHT STAR & MY BOY
15.03 Al Basti Equiworld, Dubai Restricted Novice Stakes (GBB/GBBPlus Race) (Div 2)
I quite like the chances of HEREWARD, who was a big eye-catcher when third on debut in France and must have outstanding claims with so much more to come. The Brian Meehan team is in excellent form as well, so this son of Saxon Warrior is fancied to land the spoils.
Tips: HEREWARD
15.39 British EBF Quidhampton Maiden Fillies’ Stakes
MISS MINIVER looks the one to side with in this contest. She came extremely close to making a winning debut at Kempton last month when a neck-second and earns the vote to go one place better. She makes plenty of appeal with Kieran Shoemark booked to ride.
Tips: MISS MINIVER
16.14 IRE-Incentive, It Pays To Buy Irish Dick Poole Fillies’ Stakes
I quite like the chances of NUIT D’ECLAIR, who went close in this grade at Newmarket last time out and surely has more to come. She has some of the best form in the book and is fancied to get the better of Miss Kodi, who ran really well when fourth in a hot Group 2 event at York when last seen. They should have this between them, with Dark Issue in close proximity.
Tips: NUIT D’ECLAIR
16.49 European Bloodstock News EBF ‘Lochsong’ Fillies’ Handicap
ZEN DIVA is unbeaten in two course starts, winning both outings by a combined 15 lengths, so even though she’s 10lb higher in the handicap, Ralph Beckett’s filly is well worth a place in this grade. BETTY CLOVER has some smart efforts in the book, particularly in stronger events, so she’s feared most if able to produce one of her best performances. I think she’s the biggest danger to the former.
Tips: ZEN DIVA & BETTY CLOVER
