Granny Hawkins is going for the four-timer and has obvious claims, but ALMUHIT is a tough horse to pass when allowed a soft lead, and Harry Cobden might be able to dictate matters, so he’s fancied to emerge victorious.

Special John is expected to go well but conceding so much weight to GATA BAN might prove a challenge too far. The latter was really impressive at Worcester last time out and might be able to go in again if in similar form.

MUSKERRY ROCK is the one to side with on stable debut for Dan Skelton. Last seen winning a Hunter Chase in Ireland, the seven-year-old is of serious interest over hurdles in the UK and is expected to win this en route to going onto better things.
