Carlisle Place 6 Preview | 8th June
14.15 Racing TV Apprentice Handicap
HARRY’S HALO failed to show his true colours in three starts last year but ran a really good race when third on his return at Doncaster and a repeat showing should see him bang in contention. He’s also a pound below his last winning mark.
Tips: HARRY’S HALO
14.45 British Stallion Studs EBF Novice Stakes
Karl Burke, James Doyle and Wathnan often do well and it would come as no surprise to see LIGHT OF DAWN go very well on debut. However, DEPUTY VICE ran a good race the first time out at Chester when third and must be played as cover.
Tips: LIGHT OF DAWN & DEPUTY VICE
15.15 Carlisle Racecourse Supporting IJF Beneficiaries Maiden Fillies’ Stakes
PEARL shaped with considerable promise when third on debut at York and Ralph Beckett’s charge surely has more to come. She is fancied to put that experience to good use and prove difficult to beat. Marhayb is the obvious danger.
Tips: PEARL
15.45 Watch Racing TV Live Handicap
BATTENBURG BELLE has only found one too good on her last couple of outings and the latest form has been advertised by the winning scoring again since. From the same mark, she should be able to play another leading role.
Tips: BATTENBURG BELLE
16.18 Every Race Live On Racing TV Fillies’ Handicap
A chance is taken on RAVISHING BEAUTY, who is a pound lower than when last successful and could get involved. The other one I like is BLUFFERONTHEBUS, who is a C&D winner and is also back on her last winning figure. I think she’s got a serious chance.
Tips: RAVISHING BEAUTY & BLUFFERONTHEBUS
16.53 Follow Racing TV On X Handicap
STAR CAST has been in great form this year, winning four times and should have no problem dropping back in distance. She wasn’t beaten far when attempting to make it three wins on the bounce last time out and can pose another threat off an unchanged mark.
Tips: STAR CAST
