14.00 Racing To School Reaches 25 Years Maiden Hurdle

The opener can go to COUNTRY PARK. He’s hit the deck three times in this sphere but was set to win last time out before his departure and looks capable of making amends granted a clear round. He has the best form and should be able to finally open his account.

14.30 LSL Racing Horse Sales – Syndication – Leasing Novices’ Hurdle

This is a great opportunity for HURRICANE PAT to regain the winning thread. He won his first couple of starts over hurdles before chasing home the Supreme winner in a Grade 2 event at Haydock. He then ran above expectations when ninth of 21 in the Turners at Cheltenham and can capitalise on the drop in the grade.

15.00 South West Rail Solutions Ltd Handicap Chase

I like the chances of SUPREME GEORGE, who has made a positive start to his chase career, winning three of his six outings and might be able to dominate this small-field event. Charlie Maggs can also claim 3lb, so he looks set to make a bold bid being Donald McCain’s only runner on the card.

15.32 Russell Property Consultants Handicap Chase

BLOW YOUR WAD can make his class count in this race. This Grade 2 winning-chaser never runs a bad race and has performed with credit in defeat all season, including when a fast-finishing fourth in the Ultima last time out. This is far easier, so despite operating off a career-high mark, the top-weight is strongly fancied to gain an overdue success.

16.07 South West Rail Solutions Ltd Handicap Hurdle

BLUEGRASS has a touch of class and should appreciate the drop in grade. The seven-year-old is now 3lb below his last winning mark and could go well under the welter burden. TORRENT ran poorly here last time out but he’ll be happier back on a sounder surface and has placed twice over track and trip off higher marks. I can see him outrunning his odds.

16.39 Tip Top Sensational Shower Handicap Hurdle

THE ITALIAN FOX spreadeagled his rivals over C&D just seven days ago and is difficult to oppose with more to come. The fact that he’s turned out quickly must mean he’s ready to go again, so in such a poor event, I expect him to justify favouritism.
