PORTORO comes into the race in good form and the return to this trip looks like a good move. He won his last start at this venue and is still well treated off this mark judged on his second here in September of 2024. He should be thereabouts in a tricky opener.

There’s every chance WIND SUMMER will come good on handicap debut. He’s made the frame on his last couple of starts and pushed the reopposing Roserunner close on all-weather Bow two starts ago. With plenty more to come, Mason Paetel’s mount should be able to pose a serious threat.

MBAPPE is a course winner and did very well to finish as close as he did when third over track and trip nine days ago after being hampered. The five-year-old has become so well handicapped (6lb below last winning mark) that he must be considered as a major contender for the Loughnane team.

A lot of guesswork involved here, so a chance is taken on STAY SALTY. This son of Pinatubo is drawn nicely and represents a yard amongst the winners. It would come as no surprise to see him competitive, though another newcomer to note is Palladas.

19.30 Every Race Live On Racing TV Restricted Maiden Fillies’ Stakes

It would come as a major shock if SEEING STARS couldn’t go close to getting off the mark. She has finished runner-up on all three starts to date and was marginally denied by a subsequent winner on her penultimate start. I think she has outstanding claims of going one place better under Luke Morris.

20.00 Try Unibet’s New Improved Acca Boosts Fillies’ Handicap

EXPOSAY came very close to scoring when third over C&D nine days ago and will reappear off the exact same mark. If she can settle that bit better, with more to come, then I see no reason why she can’t go close to opening her account. Her stable has been in good form of late as well.
