ROCK ARMOUR won with so much up his sleeve over C&D six days ago that he must be considered under his penalty. The headgear clearly worked a treat, so a similar performance should see him hard to beat. Rampant I’d feared the most.
Tips: ROCK ARMOUR
17.30 BetUK: It’s Where The UK Bets Handicap
LADY NUNTHORPE is only 2lb higher mark than when scoring at Southwell in October and after a couple of lesser efforts, he was back on track with a fine third at the same venue last month. In what is a modest race, he should remain competitive.
Tips: LADY NUNTHORPE

ABSOLUTELY NOT shaped with distinct promise when keeping on fifth on her debut at Wolverhampton last year and would have finished even closer without being slowly into stride as well as being hampered. She hasn’t been seen since but brings significant potential to the table and could have a serious part to play in the outcome.
Tips: ABSOLUTELY NOT
18.30 Extra Winnings With BetUK Acca Club Handicap
A wide-open contest but BADRI bolted up in a stronger race than this at Southwell three weeks ago and can go in again back down in trip. The eight-year-old remains well handicapped on past form and is a dual winner over C&D (one of those was off today’s figure) and he also finished runner-up off a 10lb higher mark over track and trip in 2023. That was a much higher graded race, so now that he’s back on form, I can see him going close.
Tips: BADRI
19.00 Win 1M With BetMGM’s Golden Goals Handicap
URBAN DANDY is a course winner off a 9lb higher mark and is generally a consistent type. I thought he was unlucky to be touched off over C&D last time out and could make amends off an unchanged figure. The five-year-old has the capabilities to win today’s event.
Tips: URBAN DANDY
19.30 Gamble Responsibly At BetMGM Handicap
With three C&D wins under his belt, MERESIDE MADNESS beat a few of today’s reopposing rivals 16 days ago and there’s no reason why he cannot confirm his superiority off a 4lb higher mark. That latest win was a personal best, so if in similar form, another win here could be on the cards.
Tips: MERESIDE MADNESS
