Musselburgh Win 6 Preview | 6th November

12.35 – Visit racingtv.com Handicap

The hat trick-seeking PROFITEER beat a higher-rated rival when completing a double at Pontefract last month, and a 3lb rise shouldn’t prevent a bold bid. TRAVEL CANDY has performed with credit of late off this mark and is feared most ahead of C&D winner KYBER CRYSTAL.

Tips: PROFITEER, TRAVEL CANDY & KYBER CRYSTAL

13.05 – EBF Restricted Maiden Stakes

Lucinda Russell’s STORM THE DUG has improved with each start and has done reasonably well to make the frame here on his last couple of starts. I know this is tougher, but he’s unexposed and represents a yard that does well in this sphere. Nottingham debut fourth EMERY DOWN and the twice-placed MASTER TECHNICIAN can also be shortlisted.

Tips: STORM THE DUG, EMERY DOWN & MASTER TECHNICIAN

CODE PURPLE likes it here, with his course record reading 12112, and his latest effort behind Golden Valour was solid. His other second here was off a 4lb higher mark, so he remains well treated and should be involved. CISCO DISCO came close to scoring at Ayr last time out when a nose-second and cannot be ruled out, with course winner BELTANE another to note.

Tips: CODE PURPLE, CISCO DISCO & BELTANE

Richard Fahey’s SILENT MOVE won with plenty to spare on his penultimate start at Haydock and will find this easier than when seventh back at the same venue last time out. He’s the one to beat, but QUIET RESOLVE has been thereabouts the last twice off this mark and is preferred to Etretat, who needs more off his current mark.

Tips: SILENT MOVE & QUIET RESOLVE

ROMAN HARRY finally opened his account when scoring at Laytown last time out and has to be taken seriously having his first start in the UK off a handy figure. JOHN L SULLIVAN remains 6lb above his last winning mark, but he’s been in decent form of late and must be respected, with conditions holding no fears.

Tips: ROMAN HARRY & JOHN L SULLIVAN

STAND STRONG looked promising back in 2022 when making the frame in all three starts (form that has worked out well), and although he’s not quite looked like the same horse in four starts since returning from a long absence, he could outrun his odds off this basement mark. Of the others, SAVROLA is probably the one to beat.

Tips: STAND STRONG & SAVROLA
