Some people might look down on the League Cup – it’s taken a bit of a back seat in the last 15 years or so. Less important than the rest. Not the case for one lucky Pick 4 player this week though!

All they had to do was find the correct score in the four selected matches. How hard can that be? Not very, for this punter.

Finishing Tuesday night 2/2 with Liverpool beating Spurs 2-1 and Hull grabbing a 2-1 win at Bristol City, things were looking peachy for our man.

Fast forward 24 hours – Southampton 1-0 up and West Ham beating Chelsea 2-0 – all that was needed was a Chelsea consolation goal for a handsome windfall – would you believe it, deep into injury time, with bottles and seats whizzing through the air in the stands, Gary Cahill kept his head, then swept home from close range and put our Pick 4 player in the box seat. Hats off to you sir.
