There was a lot to like about the way SCINTILLANTE enhanced his fine record at this track when scoring over C&D for the second time three weeks ago. He’s back up in class, but boasts a stronger profile than the majority of these, so he seems like the solid option to at least fill the frame.

Hurdling debutant CEPHALUS was last seen finishing third on the Flat at Kempton and Tom Queally very rarely rides over the sticks but takes the ride. If this six-year-old can translate his Flat ability to this sphere then I see no reason why he cannot make a serious impact.

TILEHURST looks like the answer to this event. This bumper debut winner only found one too good when second over C&D six weeks ago and the winner has boosted the form since by winning again as well as placing second. This open to further improvement four-year-old should be bang in contention at the business end.
