This looks wide-open and the vote is handed to NORTHWEST PASSAGE. He’s largely consistent on the Flat and has been in good form of late, which bodes well ahead of his first go in this sphere. Harry Cobden is also an interesting jockey booking.

This looks a strong race for the grade with the vote going to DAYDREAM NATION. Despite having a tendency to jump left on hurdles debut at Gowran Park, this Irish raider still managed to win by 16 lengths. The form hasn’t worked out, but he could only beat what was put in front of him and he could give the Brits plenty to think about.

HIGHLANDS LEGACY scored on his chasing bow at Worcester before going close at Aintree. The winner has won again since to strengthen the form and the six-year-old is in receipt of weight from the rest of the field. With more to come, I fancy him to go close.

PESO has an absence to overcome but he shaped very well in three starts over hurdles and was mightily impressive when scoring here last December. There’s every chance he will be an even better chaser and a mark of 125 seems lenient. He’s fancied to strike on chase debut.
