18.00 Have A Go At Eaton Hall Shooting Ground Novices’ Hurdle

TWIRLING boasts some very smart Flat form and is an exciting addition to the hurdling ranks for Nicky Henderson. Hope Rising and Squire Danagher have the benefit of experience in this sphere but both were rated much lower than the selection, who could be too good for them.

Tips: TWIRLING

18.30 Clay Shooting At Eaton Hall Shooting Ground Novices’ Handicap Chase

Twice a winner over hurdles last autumn, BALLYTECHNO shaped quite nicely when third on his chase debut at Worcester. Down in grade and eligible to compete from off the same mark with Sean Bowen in the saddle, the top weight should make a bold bid.

Tips: BALLYTECHNO

19.00 Visit The Gunroom At Eaton Hall Handicap Chase

AJOP KINGDOM’s two previous course starts, including over today’s trip, have resulted in wide-margin and wins by a combined 29 lengths. He’s just 3lb higher than when he won the last of those two wins by 15 lengths, so he’s fancied to go well in his bid to remain unbeaten at the Midlands venue.

Tips: AJP KINGDOM

19.30 Plink On The Air Rifle Range At Eaton Hall Handicap Hurdle

This is a tacky little race but the vote goes to WBEE, who had a good record around this time of year and is 2lb lower than when he last got his head in front. He ran a big race at Cartmel to finish third after a long time off the track and is down in class. A repeat of that effort with a run under his belt ought to see him competitive again.

Tips: WBEE

20.00 Country Clothing At Eaton Hall Handicap Chase

SOLID FUEL went from being in first to fourth inside the final 100 yards at Worcester, and although that was disappointing having looked the most likely winner, he’s sure to appreciate the ease in class.  If he can keep his mind on the job, the seven-year-old could make amends.

Tips: SOLID FUEL

20.30 Tweedl Handicap Hurdle

Plenty to consider. However, CRYSTAL MER was so impressive when he easily won over C&D on stable debut last month. Even with a 10lb rise in the handicap, Hughie Morrison’s charge has every chance of doubling his tally over timber in the hands of Sean Bowen.

Tips: CRYSTAL MER
