Plumpton Place 6 Preview | 15th December

12.30 Royal Arch Racing Novices’ Hurdle

ADONEDEAL should prove a cut above this field under Sean Bowen. He was an impressive winner on hurdles debut at Southwell and should be able to defy the penalty in the opener with the minimum of fuss.

Tips: ADONEDEAL

13.00 G.E.White & Sons Agricultural Buildings Handicap Chase

ILLEGAL D’AINAY lacked conviction when well beaten on chase/seasonal debut but better is expected now. The seven-year-old won here in May of last year and looks well handicapped based on a line through the runner-up.

Tips: ILLEGAL D’AINAY

13.30 Maria & Nick’s Perfect Wedding Gift Maiden Hurdle

The most intriguing race on the card with the vote going to MANIGOD. This close relation to the top-class Vauban ran a good race when second on hurdles debut over C&D four weeks ago and could be about to go one place better.

Tips: MANIGOD

14.00 Become A Racehorse Owner At oldgoldracing.com Handicap Hurdle

Having appreciated a positive ride when successful at Taunton last month, AVADA KEDAVRA should go well in his follow-up bid. The fact that connections have retained Brendan Powell is also a positive factor. The one to beat.

Tips: AVADA KEDAVRA

14.30 weatherbysshop.co.uk Handicap Chase

Course regular BIRDMAN BOB won over C&D last month and lost nothing in defeat when runner-up to a subsequent winner back here two weeks ago. Off an unchanged mark, the eight-year-old should be able to make another bold bid.

Tips: BIRDMAN BOB

15.00 Dawson Hart Solicitors Handicap Hurdle

Bumper winner KOOL KID has improved with each start in this sphere and is down in grade ahead of his handicap debut. An opening mark of 103 doesn’t seem excessive, and with the step up in trip likely to bring about improvement, the top-weight should go well.

Tips: KOOL KID
