Our friend here chose the steady 1-1 as his sole selection in Watford vs West Ham. Watford scored first, but from then on it was all one-way-traffic. West Ham peppered the Watford goal and were unlucky not to equalise before half-time.
Then with 15 minutes to go, Antonio rattled a shot off both posts before the ball fell kindly to Ayew who prodded home.
A 3-0 victory to Brighton got him through leg 3. Safe and sound, so far.

Our punter was in seventh-heaven, as long as Stoke didn’t complete the impossible comeback in the second half. They didn’t. They didn’t even score. The game ended 4-0.
