Pete O’Rourke’s Pick 4 Rollover Preview

Liverpool v Porto

This tie is over as a contest with Porto playing for pride after the 5-0 mauling in the first leg and with that in mind more goals should be on the menu.
Jurgen Klopp’s team selection could be key to my picks with the German expected to rest a number of stars with the big game against Man Utd on the horizon.
Liverpool’s defensive frailities always give the opposition opportunities so over 2.5 goals looks on the menu.
It looks a call between a high-scoring draw or a Liverpool win with both sides on the scoresheet.

Prediction: 3-1, 2-1, 2-0, 1-1, 2-2

PSG v Real Madrid

These two sides didn’t disappoint in the first leg in a 3-1 win for holders Real and this should be another wide open encounter. Losing Neymar to injury is a major blow to PSG’s hopes of staging a comeback, but they have other players who can score goals in the side. The same can be said of Real Madrid and that is why I will be playing over 2.5 goals and BTTS for my picks.
Real have the experience and the big-game know-how to see out the tie and although
I’ll make PSG wins the focus I will cover with a draw.

Prediction: 2-1, 3-1, 1-1, 2-2

Juventus v Tottenham

This tie is delicately poised after an entertaining 2-2 draw in Turin, but for long periods Tottenham dominated the game. On current form and at home Tottenham will fancy their chances of finishing off the job, but it would be foolish to write off Juventus who have reached two of the last three finals.
Tottenham have already beaten Real Madrid in Champions League at Wembley this season and I will make a home win the focus of my picks with BTTS to score in a high-scoring affair.

Prediction: 2-0, 2-1, 3-1, 1-1

AC Milan v Arsenal

These two sides come into this game in contrasting form with Milan revitalised under Gennarro Gattuso and Arsene Wenger under increasing pressure at Arsenal. These two sides have genuine aspirations of winning the Europa League and I expect this to be a tight, cagey first leg. I am happy to keep these selections down to an home win and spread more bets over the other three ties.

Prediction: 1-0, 2-0, 2-1
