Pete O’Rourke’s Champions League Pick 4 Rollover Syndicate Preview

We have a Pick 4 Rollover kicking off on Tuesday with Man Utd vs Sevilla and Pete O’Rourke has previewed the pool with a Syndicate available.

Man Utd v Sevilla

This tie is delicately poised after a goalless draw in the first leg and I am expecting another close encounter at Old Trafford.

Jose Mourinho will be desperate to avoid conceding an away goal as it could make life very difficult for United to reach the quarter-finals. With that in mind Mourinho will set up his side to keep Sevilla at bay and try and keep a clean sheet.

United boosted by big wins over Chelsea and Liverpool in recent weeks at Old Trafford should get the job against Sevilla and I will cover my picks with a narrow home win.

Prediction: 1-0, 2-0, 2-1, 3-1

Roma v Shakhtar

Roma need to overturn a 2-1 first leg deficit to overcome Shakhtar and reach the last eight of the Champions League and I fancy the Italians to do it.

Shakhtar don’t have the best record away from home in the Champions League, having failed to core in six of their last seven trips away in the competition.

Roma did not concede a goal at the Stadio Olimpico during the group stages and I will make a home victory the focus of my picks.

Prediction: 1-1, 2-0, 2-1, 3-1

Besiktas v Bayern Munich

This tie is over as a contest with Besiktas playing for pride after the 5-0 mauling to Bayern in the first leg and this could be a hard game to call.

Bayern are in superb form at the minute on a 19-game unbeaten run, but they could rest a number of key stars with their progress to the quarter-finals as good as assured.

Besiktas will be more competitive on home soil and they will be determined to bow out with their heads held high.

Besiktas have goals in them, especially at home, and with Bayern scoring goals for fun I will be playing over 2.5 goals and BTTS for my picks.

Prediction: 2-1, 0-1, 0-2, 1-2

Barcelona v Chelsea

Chelsea could count themselves unlucky to only draw 1-1 in the first leg at Stamford Bridge, but they could find things a whole lot tougher at the Nou Camp.

Lionel Messi’s late equaliser in the first leg has tipped the balance of the game in favour of Barcelona and they will be expected to finish off the job at home.

Chelsea’s away form in 2018 is a major concern having lost their last four games away from home and there is no harder place to go to than the Nou Camp right now.

The chances of a shock Chelsea win seem unlikely and with the form Barcelona are in my main focus will be on a home win.

Prediction: 2-0, 2-1, 3-1
