13.50 Oddschecker Handicap 

The opening race can go the way of PRINCLING, who is eased in grade and can build on his latest good effort in the Golden Gate when fifth. His penultimate effort at Carlisle was disappointing but last time out’s performance was better and he should be able to go close.

14.25 Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes

The unbeaten and exciting LIBERTANGO can make it three wins from three starts. She was a very commanding winner of the Albany Stakes last time out when having too much speed for Sun Goddess late on and I see no reason she should be opposed. She could be a star in the making and must be considered the one to beat.

15.00 Betway Trophy

Nicky Henderson’s GOBLET OF FIRE has been in good form in this sphere and was last seen beating Align The Stars with a lot up his sleeve last time out. That form has been significantly boosted as the runner-up has subsequently landed the Northumberland Plate at Newcastle. He’s gone up 7lb but there’s surely more to come

15.35 Tattersalls Sceptre Sessions Falmouth Stakes

Aidan O’Brien’s star filly PRECISE has six wins from eight starts and was last seen landing a fourth Group 1 win of her career in the Coronation Stakes. She is also a top-level winner over track and trip and that is a big advantage to have over her main rival Blue Bolt.

16.10 Weatherbys Banking Group British EBF Maiden Fillies’ Stakes

This is basically guesswork but ACTING LADY is expected to do better than when last of three on debut at HQ and could put that experience to good use and get involved. PURE MAJESTY represents a stable having a cracking season, so she’s the other one I want to include.

16.45 Debenhams Handicap

TATTERSALL ran a big race when just denied at Hamilton last time out and has plenty of smart efforts in the book, so he could be thereabouts, while the likes of TWILIGHT CALLS and OUR CODY have the ability to make a major impact. I think the winner is likely to come from one of these three.
