Newcastle Place 6 preview | 15th November

14.30 – Gamble Responsibly At BetUK Apprentice Handicap – 2m

EAGLE’S REALM quickened up well last time to open his account in this sphere at Wolverhampton 19 days ago, and a 3Ib rise shouldn’t prevent him from going well again. SHOW NO FEAR is very well handicapped on the pick of his form when trained in Ireland and shaped well on his stable debut here last time, so an even bigger effort can be expected.

Tips: EAGLE’S REALM, SHOW NO FEAR

15.05: Set Deposit Limits At BetUK Handicap – 1m4f

SUPER STARS finished a solid fourth over C&D just under two weeks ago and placed three times last year off much higher marks. He should give another good account, while MARCELLO SI has run well in all three previous starts at this course and is 2Ib lower than last time, so he must be respected.

Tips: SUPER STARS, MARCELLO SI

15.37: BetUK Take Time Out During SGWeek23! Handicap – 1m4f

LA PULGA ran a really good race when narrowly beaten into second here last time, and the drop in grade could see him go a place better. MET OFFICE didn’t look like a 50/1 shot when scoring easily at Wolverhampton last time. He will carry a penalty this time, but is open to further progress and should go well at generous odds.

Tips: LA PULGA, MET OFFICE

16.15: BetMGM – Stay Golden With Responsible Play Handicap – 1m

TITAN ROCK went down fighting at Ayr last time in a much stronger race when second and has winning form off a mark of 90, so a 2Ib rise shouldn’t prevent another bold bid. URBAN SPRAWL has placed in all of his last three starts, including a stronger race at Chelmsford last time, and should be in contention from a handy low slot in stall 2.

Tips: TITAN ROCK, URBAN SPRAWL

16.45: Use Safer Gambling Tools At BetUK Novice Stakes – 6f

BALLSBRIDGE made the frame in both starts for Aidan O’Brien, with his latest effort coming when second at Navan. The drop in distance for his stable debut should suit him, and he should be difficult to beat, granted further improvement.

Tips: BALLSBRIDGE

17.18: Stay In Control At BetUK Handicap – 6f

ONE NIGHT STAND has undoubtedly been underperforming for some time now, but he is capable of smart form on a going day, and his last win came in a listed race. It was only back in June that he finished fifth in the Epsom Dash off a 19Ib higher mark, so at double-figure odds, he is worth a chance. RAZEYNA is down to a career-low mark and has run well the last three times in stronger events. He is shortlisted.

Tips: One Night Stand, Razeyna
