15.05 Daily Bet Boosts At BetVictor Nursery
DARK ALLEY is going from strength-to-strength and duly landed the odds when a ready winner at Bath last month. That came after a promising second at Windsor, so despite this being tougher, Warren Greatrex’s charge must be classed as a key player in the opener.
Tips: DARK ALLEY
15.40 Highclere Horse Feeds EBF Fillies’ Novice Stakes
This is an intriguing maiden event, and while Likeness and Rouane shaped promisingly when they both finished third on their debuts, the Ed Walker-trained BUTTERFLY BEACH is fancied to go one place better then she did at Newmarket with more to come. She is a well-built daughter of Acclamation and should be bang in contention.
Tips: BUTTERFLY BEACH
16.10 TPT Fire Supports St Michaels Hospice EBF Maiden Stakes
This is a difficult race to assess but debutant BOW ECHO represents a stable that does well with newcomers and this son of Night Of Thunder is likely to prove popular in the betting ring if breeding is anything to go by. Market confidence would no doubt be positive.
Tips: BOW ECHO
16.45 Sequoia Hair & Spirit St Hugh’s Stakes
Forehead is the standard-setter, but KILLAVIA has taken giant strides since her debut, chasing home Rising Power before placing in the Dragon Stakes and then opening her account last month. All of those three latest runs have been at Sandown, but she’s improving and could turnout to be the biggest danger to the market leader.
Tips: KILLAVIA
17.20 Christopher Smith Associates LLP Handicap
Charlie Clover’s new recruit CALYXOH looks extremely well handicapped off 79, especially when you consider how highly tried he was as a juvenile last season, including when a respectable eighth of 27 in last year’s Windsor Castle Stakes. His only previous course start saw him contest a Listed event and I liked his stable debut last time out after a long absence, so he’s one to strongly consider.
Tips: CALYXOH
17.57 Get Best Odds Guaranteed With BetVictor Apprentice Handicap
NIGHTSINWHITESATIN was undoubtedly suited by the way the race developed when scoring so easily at Nottingham last week, but she’s officially 2lb well-in under a penalty, and it’s difficult seeing her out of the frame. She’s the one to beat.
Tips: NIGHTSINWHITESATIN
