Lingfield Place 6 preview | 20th January

12.15 – Best Racing Odds Guaranteed At BetMGM Handicap

EPSOM FAITHFULL has C&D winning form to her name and ran well to finish third here last time, despite encountering a wide trip throughout the race. She should remain competitive, while the top-weight REVOLUTIONISE and ULTRAMARINE, who are in good form at the moment, are others to consider.

Tips: EPSOM FAITHFULL, REVOLUTIONISE, ULTRAMARINE

12.50 – Boost Your Acca At BetMGM Handicap

Fire Demon is interesting on handicap debut under Ryan Moore, but improvement is required to beat ROMAN EMPEROR, who has improved with each start and beat a couple of interesting prospects at Southwell last time. His third place on debut has worked out well, and he is very appealing on handicap debut. BALON D’OR is open to improvement on the all-weather and could be a leading player.

Tips: ROMAN EMPEROR, BALON D’OR

13.25 – Boost Your Acca-Fenwa With BetUK Handicap

BOHEMIAN BREEZE bagged three wins last year and beat an 80-rated rival at Wolverhampton in his penultimate start. He was a beaten favourite last time but remains of interest, with Rossa Ryan booked to ride. AMAZING won in good style at Wolverhampton last time, and she is the one to beat, while FORGE VALLEY LAD has plenty of course wins in the book and should make a bold bid.

Tips: BOHEMIAN BREEZE, AMAZING, FORGE VALLEY LAD

14.00 – Bet 10 Get 40 At BetMGM Handicap

TROPEZ POWER will find this easier than the race he contested at Newcastle last time out, in which he looked unlucky not to finish a lot closer, and his positive record on the all-weather must give him a good chance from a handy draw in stall 4. While FANTASTIC FOX has been in excellent form in recent months and has been competitive the last two times. With the race sure to be run to suit, he should again go well.

Tips: TROPEZ POWER, FANTASTIC FOX

14.35 – Build Your Acca With BetUK Handicap

BEDFORD FLYER has two wins and a second from three starts over C&D and has a win to his name off a 1Ib higher mark. A repeat of his latest second would be enough to see him heavily involved in the latter stages. CHIPSTEAD returned a comfortable winner at Kempton last time out and won at York last spring off a 4Ib higher mark. He looks like a better handicapped horse than the majority of these and must be shortlisted in a wide open race.

Tips: BEDFORD FLYER, CHIPSTEAD

15.10 – BetMGM Winter Oaks Fillies’ Handicap

ELEANOR CROSS has shown plenty of promise in all three of her starts to date, and the form of her second on debut has worked out well, with the first and third boosting the form in a big way since. Andrew Balding’s filly could be hard to topple on her handicap debut with a lenient mark and handy weight. QUEEN REGENT has run well to finish second the last two times and could find further improvement in first-time cheekpieces.

Tips: ELEANOR CROSS, QUEEN REGENT
