Dave Tindall’s Saturday Pick 4 Syndicate Preview

Hi folks.

We have a Pick 4 kicking off on Saturday with Sevilla vs Barcelona and Dave Tindall has previewed the pool with a Syndicate available.

Sevilla v Barcelona

Both these two have Champions League fixtures on the horizon but, traditionally, this tends to be an open contest.

In fact, the last five games between the two at the Sanchez Pizjuan have seen both goalkeepers picking the ball out of the net so I’ll go with both teams to score as a starting point.

Lionel Messi missed out for Argentina last week so could be a doubtful starter but Barca still have plenty of firepower without him.

Between their two games against Man Utd, Sevilla lost twice at home so I’m certainly leaning towards runaway leaders Barca.

Prediction: 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 2-3

Juventus v AC Milan

Like Barca, Juventus will have half an eye on Europe but Serie A is a big priority too and they go into the weekend leading the way but just two points ahead of Napoli.

Juve have dominated this fixture, winning nine of the last 10 meetings, but Milan under Gennaro Gattuso are a much improved outfit with eight victories and two draws in their last 10.

Notably, Under 2.5 goals has landed in Juve’s last seven domestic games and also in Milan’s last three road games in Italy.

Head-to-heads? The goal make-ups in the last seven clashes between the pair read: 2-3-2-1-1-3-1. I’ll start with 2-0 to Juve and build around that.

Prediction: 1-0, 2-0, 2-1

Guingamp v Bordeaux

It’s 14th v 11th in France and the two are separated by just two points.

Guingamp have shipped 10 goals in their last four home games, losing their last three. You have to go back to December for their last home win.

Bordeaux won four on the spin across January and February but they’ve hit a rocky patch too with three defeats and two draws in their last five.

As a contrast to Guingamp home games, Unders has been landing in Bordeaux away matches which makes this a tricky one to call.

Neither can be trusted so we’ll cover a low-scoring draw and narrow wins either side.

Prediction: 2-1, 1-1, 0-1, 1-2

Chelsea v Tottenham

It’s one of the more surprising stats – Chelsea are unbeaten in their last 27 home league games against Spurs. They’ve won 18 of those.

Chelsea also won 2-1 at Wembley earlier this season although Spurs sit five points above the Blues in the current Premier League table and have scored at nearly two per game on the road.

Over 2.5 goals has landed in each of the last five Premier League clashes between the duo at Stamford Bridge so I’d expect that to continue.

Chelsea simply can’t afford to lose this and, with their big players likely to be really up for it (not always the case against some of the lesser lights), I think they may edge a high-scoring contest.

Prediction: 2-1, 3-2, Other Draw
