Dave Tindall’s Saturday Pick 4 Syndicate Preview

We have a Pick 4 kicking off on Saturday evening with Napoli vs Roma and Dave Tindall has previewed the pool with a Syndicate available.

Napoli v Roma

Napoli continue to set the pace in Serie A and 10 home wins represents a club-record haul and there’s surely more to come.

Juventus are the only team to emerge with a win at Naples this season and Roma, after a brief revival, have suffered back-to-back defeats away in Shakhtar and at home to a rejuvenated AC Milan last weekend.

For all their iffy form over the last couple of months, Roma haven’t conceded more than two in a game since the 3-3 draw with Chelsea in October although Napoli can score freely.

It’s all about the win for Napoli and they should get it. I think 2-0 is the sweet spot in this game and I’ll work some results either side of that.

Prediction: 1-0, 2-0, 2-1, 3-0, 3-1, 1-1

Genoa v Cagliari

It’s 13th plays 14th in this Serie A clash and respective home and away records look poor for both.

Genoa are W3, D2, L7 at home while Cagliari have figures of W3, D3, L7 on the road.

However, Genoa are much improved in front of their home fans and have dug out three wins to nil in their last four home fixtures, peaking with a 2-0 success over Inter two weeks ago.

Cagliari lost at Chievo last time but had drawn two and won one of their previous three road trips so they’re picking up too.

I see this as an Unders game which helps us cut to the chase. I want both low-scoring draws onside and also narrow home wins.

Prediction: 1-0, 2-0, 2-1, 0-0, 1-1

Pick 4 Syndicate

Brighton v Arsenal

Arsenal are in a dreadful way after slipping 10 points behind fourth-placed Spurs and being thumped in the League Cup final.

Okay, both those games were to Manchester City but they looked demoralised during Thursday’s home loss to Pep’s men and they come up against a Brighton side whose confidence is up after back-to-back 3-1 and 4-1 home wins.

Brighton, despite climbing to 12th, rarely keep clean sheets so Both Teams To Score looks hot favourite here. The Seagulls have also scored two or more in five of their last six home games so net freely at home.

With Arsenal now putting huge focus on next Thursday’s Europa League clash with AC Milan I think they look hugely vulnerable and I’m siding with the hosts.

Prediction: 2-1, 3-1, Other Draw

Man City v Chelsea

Chelsea will surely be a tougher nut to crack than Arsenal and there’s an interesting stat that Pep Guardiola has never won a home game against Chelsea. That includes two matches in charge of Barca and a 3-1 home defeat to the Blues last season.

City played some sparkling stuff in the first half at the Emirates on Thursday night before seeing the game out and they also shut out Chelsea when winning 1-0 at Stamford Bridge earlier in the season.

Chelsea were rather unfortunate to lose at Old Trafford last weekend and I can see them getting on the scoresheet (Yes for BTTS) and giving City something to think about.

I predict a close one but, as cover, will also throw in Other Home Win just in case City turn it on big time again.

Prediction: 2-1, 3-1, Other Home Win, 1-1
