Colossus launch NHL pools!
If you’re a fan of North American sport and have played our NBA and NFL pools in the past then you’ll love our new NHL pools!
Having launched earlier this week, in time for the 2019/20 NHL season, we are offering winning margin pools on ice hockey which will include all the fantastic features that make our other pools so popular, including Cash Out, Syndicates and consolation prizes.
How to play Winning Margin pools
Winning margin pools are simple enough to play. In each leg of the pool you need to pick which team you believe will win the match and the margin that they will win by. Don’t forget that our ice hockey pools are regular time only, meaning that the draw is also an option.
You can also select more than one
option in each leg to increase your chances of winning the pool, however bear in mind that every selection you make will increase the overall cost of the ticket. The number of lines are calculated by multiplying the number of selections on each leg together. For example, in the attached screenshot there are two selections in the first leg, one in the second, three in the third and two in the fourth. 2 x 1 x 3 x 2 = 12 lines. When playing at £2 a line, the total cost is therefore £24. If you wish to reduce the cost of your ticket, you can reduce the number of selections made or reduce the stake per line, although the latter option will also reduce the jackpot that you are playing for.
After that you can just sit back, relax and watch the action unfold. Although don’t forget to check for Cash Out offers between legs!
