IIE ATLANTIQUE is building up a rock solid CV for trainer Willie Mullins and should go very well with conditions to suit. BALLYBURN beat yesterday’s Supreme Novices’ Hurdle winner, Slade Steel, by seven lengths at Leopardstown last time out and will be difficult to beat. PREDATORS GOLD has finished second in two Grade 1 races the last twice and must be theirabouts.

SA MAJESTE could be well handicapped, having beaten former Grand National winner Noble Yeates when last seen, while top-weight BALLYADAM must be respected given that he’s a quality horse on his day. GUARD YOUR DREAMS is a former Grade 2 winner at this course and could run well at a big price. Nicky Henderson’s DODDIETHEGREAT has a decent chance too.

El FABIOLO has looked unbeatable in winning all of his six starts over fences and is impossible to oppose in today’s feature race, the Champion Chase. EDWARDSTONE looked rejuvenated by the switch to front-running tactics last time out and shouldn’t be ruled out.

DELTA WORK is bidding to win this race for the third consecutive year and will love the conditions. He cannot be dismissed, while his stablemate COKO BEACH is having the season of his life and should be difficult to beat if he can reproduce his latest win.

SAINT ROI has a liking for the Cheltenham Festival and has been laid out for this race all season, so he should be bang in contention. LIBBERTY HUNTER has won his last two races in good style and must be shortlisted. MADARA was very impressive in Ireland last time out and should also make a serious impact.
