Big Betfair Brazil FreePlay Cash Out & Lessons to be Learned

One of our FreePlay claimers into the Pick 15 originated from Betfair Brazil and was in for a number of tasty Cash Out Offers from Colossus.

The customer was quietly confident throughout legs 1-12, having just watched Malaga stage a lovely comeback against Deportivo de La Coruna to keep their dreams alive. Leeds then survived a late scare against Middlesbrough and all of a sudden we had a real ticket on our hands, with 4 legs to go.

 

 

The 12th leg was Watford at home to West ham, and with $2,117  on the line surely some sort of cash out was a given? Not even 1% was cashed out. Perhaps this can be explained from two potential scenarios: 1) The customer had completely forgotten about their ticket and was in the pub, or 2) they have some nerve to risk losing a nice amount of money!

Watford-West Ham kicked off and it turned out to be a calm 2-0 victory for Watford, validating this player’s nerve. This now saw the cash out offer more than double in amount, up to $4747.

 

As you can see, either this individual had full faith in his selections up until the Bilbao game or perhaps was finally prompted as to his rather large cash out offer – of which he took 100%. One hundred percent, which some punters may consider to be the coward’s way out (or the wise man’s), can in hindsight be declared the correct decision as Bilbao against Villareal resulted in a draw and would have brought the ticket into the consolation zone,  a much less lucrative position to be in!

So, let that be a lesson folks – don’t forget to use your FreePlays and certainly do not forget about them when you use them!

An Early Cash Out – Too Early?

This customer was playing in the same pool and would have made it to the same stage as the previous punter, but for an early cash out.

 

If you’re anxious to cash out some winnings, make use of our partial cash out option! In hindsight it is easy to say never cash out 100% of your ticket, but it really did cost this customer here. Of course, such is the beauty of ColossusBets, everyone has their own strategy.  This customer only played 1 line at the full stake of €2, which would have resulted in a huge cash out offer after the Watford v West Ham leg, which we can approximate would have been around €14,500. That could’ve been a deposit on a house!
