13.25 Tattersalls EBF Novice Stakes

An informative opener with the narrow vote going to NEW OXFORD. He was just behind Somerton on debut at Sandown but should appreciate the step up in distance and can have a say in the outcome. Flight Tracker and George Cross are feared the most.

14.00 Virgin Bet Handicap

This is completely wide-open. However, OLIVER SHOW is handicapped to go close. He needs a lot to go right for him but he’s often placed in several quality handicaps, including the last two times at Goodwood, and looks capable of ending a long losing sequence.

14.35 Virgin Bet Daily Price Boosts Handicap

PUROSANGUE has winning form at a higher level and has run well in several top-end handicaps off much higher marks. He should be thereabouts, with the same applied to FLASH HARRY. He’s a C&D winner off a pound higher mark and is another to consider.

15.10 Virgin Bet Prestige Fillies’ Stakes (Group 3)

I quite like the chances of NUIT D’ECLAIR, who went close in this grade at Newmarket last time out and surely has more to come. She seemed well-suited to seven furlongs last time out, so if David Egan can hold onto her a little longer, then I can see her going close again.

15.45 Virgin Bet Daily Extra Places Selling Stakes

A lot of these have question marks against them and I’m tempted to take a chance on last time out winner GLORYOUS. She remains on the same mark as when winning at Kempton on Wednesday and must be considered a major contender turned out quickly in this winnable event.

16.20 City Of Chichester Handicap

PERSONAL BEST is proving really consistent and was a very impressive winner at Sandown last time out. A 3lb higher mark seems fair given how much she had in hand at the finish, so she’s selected to at least make the frame.
