Our Four Best Bets for Sunday’s Racing

AIN’T NOBODY (14.15pm Beverley)

The Beverley Bullet looks wide-open. However, it’s about time AIN’T NOBODY recaptured some of his best efforts. This Group 2-Royal Ascot winner has yet to match the form of last year’s second in the Nunthorpe, but that is the best form on offer, and maybe this significant ease in grade is what he wants. If he gets the ideal setup, then Keven Ryan’s charge must be considered a leading player at this level.

NUIT D’ECLAIR (15.10pm Goodwood)

I quite like the chances of NUIT D’ECLAIR, who went close in this grade at Newmarket last time out and surely has more to come. She seemed well-suited to seven furlongs last time out, so if David Egan can hold onto her a little longer, then I can see her going close again. She has the best form in the book and is fancied to put her experience to good use and make an impact.

PIVOTAL ATTACK (15.30pm Cork)

Plenty to consider in this contest but PIVOTAL ATTACK was a good winner at Galway last time out, bringing an end to the winning sequence of the runner-up by a length and a half. She finished a solid second at the Curragh back in September in this grade and looks capable of going well with plenty in her favour.

SARAHMAE (16.05pm Cork)

Later on, SARAHMAE could outrun her odds in this Listed event. She has C&D winning form in the book and hasn’t been disgraced in four subsequent starts since recording back-to-back wins in June. Despite needing to step up from her recent sixth, I think the return to this course will see her in a better light. She is an outsider worthy of a second look in spite of others arriving with winning form on their back.
