14.30 Michael Brunton Memorial British EBF Novice Stakes
With an excellent pedigree, and given the stable she represents, FORBIDDEN FIRE must be respected on debut. FLICK OF AN EYE is another worth a second look as his stable knows how to ready one first-time-out, so he’s included.

15.00 Frazier Jones Wine Merchants Handicap
DANDANA won her first two starts before a good fourth in Group 2 company at York, and while she disappointed on her next two outings, her latest fourth at Salisbury was solid.
She looks sure to go well, as does AN OUTLAW’S GRACE, who has caught the eye on several occasions. I thought she was unlucky at Windsor when last seen and should be competitive with a clear passage. Both of these stand out to me.

15.30 British Stallion Studs EBF Stonehenge Stakes
Charlie Appleby has dominated this race in recent years, and the unbeaten QUEST FOR STARS is fancied to provide him with another winner. He’s unbeaten in two starts and should appreciate the step up in distance.
The other one to include is VELOCIRAPTOR, who won in good style at Chester when last seen and is also open to a lot more improvement. I can see him turning out to be the biggest danger to the favourite.

16.00 Molson Coors Pembroke Novice Stakes
REMI MAE was first past the post at Nottingham last time out before being demoted for causing interference and is fancied to put matters right in this event. BOLD SHOUT has shaped with some promise on both starts to date, finishing fourth on both occasions and is feared most.

16.30 British Stallion Studs EBF Upavon Fillies’ Stakes
FELICITAS came unstuck in soft ground last time out but ran with credit to finish seventh in a French Group 1 and must have excellent claims with her sights considerably lowered.
MISS SCOTT has won two of her three starts though and came close to winning the race she finished second in at Newbury. She ought to give the favourite plenty to think about representing last year’s winning stable.

17.00 Champagne Joseph Perrier Handicap
LONDONER doesn’t win often but most of the time he runs really well in defeat and only found one too good last time out. With his yard in great form, and being back on his last winning mark, I can see him making a bold bid. CARNIVAL DAY is only 2lb higher than when last successful and is another that should be in the mix.
