Kempton Place 6 Preview | 11th February

16.28 Try Unibet’s New Improved Acca Boosts Apprentice Handicap

CYNTHIA looks very well handicapped off a mark of 64 based on her head-second to a 75+ rated horse at Leicester last July and was marginally denied at Nottingham in a stronger event last time out. If she can reproduce that effort after this mini break back on the all-weather, then she’s a major contender.

Tips: CYNTHIA

17.05 Unibet Supports Safer Gambling Handicap

This is wide-open, so there’s no strong vote. However, HOVE RANGER has improved with each start and finished a good second at Lingfield on handicap debut last time out. He isn’t drawn well but must remain one to consider off an unchanged mark. SORTED also ran well when fourth on his first start in a handicap at Wolverhampton when last seen and must enter calculations.

Tips: HOVE RANGER & SORTED

17.40 Unibet More Extra Place Races Maiden Stakes

The marginal vote goes to STAR OBSESSION, who hasn’t looked short of promise in two starts to date and could prove capable of opening her account. Her latest fourth over C&D from a poor draw was solid and she might be able to waste less energy this time from a low draw. Hollie Doyle can steer her to success.

Tips: STAR OBSESSION

18.10 Unibet More Extra Place Races Maiden Stakes

The experience of MENZIES can see him to go close to taking this event. He did plenty wrong on debut here three weeks ago, but once the penny dropped, I liked how strongly he finished off his race to finish fifth. With that run under the belt, don’t be surprised to see Harry Eustace’s charge take a hand in the finish.

Tips: MENZIES

18.40 Bet 20 Get 20 With Unibet Fillies’ Handicap

Not a bad little race and hopefully ALL MOONSHINE can make it three wins on the bounce. I think she had more up her sleeve than the winning margin indicated at Wolverhampton last time out and could be well treated off a figure of 80. She ought to go well, though none of the others can be dismissed.

Tips: ALL MOONSHINE

19.10 Unibet 3 Uniboosts A Day Handicap

The feature race looks like a cracker and I like Jane Chapple Hyam’s EL BODON under Rossa Ryan. The five-year-old has been highly tried on a regular basis and made it two wins from two starts on the all-weather when winning over C&D back in December. He had finished second in a hot Group 3 event at Newbury a couple of years ago, so with more to come on his favourite surface, I reckon a bold bid is anticipated.

Tips: EL BODON
