Uttoxeter Place 6 Preview | 9th December
13.00 TGF Construction Christmas Bonanza Beginners’ Chase
FINGLE BRIDGE should be able to outclass his two rivals. He’s won four of his six starts and finished second in the other two. He was given a nice education test when second to Lulamba on chase debut and the winner has boosted the form since. I strongly fancy the seven-year-old to continue his excellent strike-rate.
Tips: FINGLE BRIDGE
13.30 Support The Injured Jockeys Fund Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle
CARISMATIC SOLIDER has not been out of the places on all five starts and is only a pound higher than when third at Wetherby on his seasonal/handicap debut. With that run under his belt, Olly Murphy’s candidate should go well.
Tips: CARISMATIC SOLDIER
14.00 Camburg Maiden Hurdle
It’s difficult to see past BARON NOIR. Alan King’s charge was useful in bumpers and made a positive start to his hurdles career when runner-up at Warwick last month. He should be able to make it second time lucky.
Tips: BARON NOIR
14.30 Avonside Supplies & Etex Handicap Chase
SKI LODGE has made a positive start to his career and made an eye-catching truth to action when second to an odds-on favourite at Lingfield. He should have more to come now tackling fences and is selected to register a third career success.
Tips: SKI LODGE
15.00 Pektron Handicap Hurdle
RAILWAY BELL hasn’t been seen for a long time but she had won her both starts to date and has the potential to rank higher. She was successful over C&D when last seen, and even though she will come on for the run, she’s a major player.
Tips: RAILWAY BELL
15.33 QuinnBet Mares’ Handicap Hurdle
PIPAS LESCRIBAA improved from both previous starts to finish second to a smart prospect at Ffos Las when last seen and an opening mark of 98 on handicap debut should be within her capabilities.
Tips: PIPAS LESCRIBAA
