This looks like a match between COUNTRY PARK and Stumps Or Slips, with the vote going to the former, whose form looks superior and can make a winning reappearance. The six-year-old’s second to Ace Of Spades at Cheltenham last November reads well. He looks well handicapped off a mark of 120 and is a confident vote to gain a first win in this sphere.

14.51 Mike Harrison 70th Birthday Handicap Hurdle

The hat-trick seeking Imdemnity is respected on his return for his in-form handler but conceding match fitness to FORGET THE WAY could prove troublesome. James Owen’s charge came within a nose of scoring at Southwell last time out and perhaps a better jump at the last would have seen him come out on top. Off only a pound higher mark, the eight-old can go one better.

This is a fair opportunity for KOPA KILANA to get his head in front. In spite of being 0-24 in this sphere, Olly Murphy has fired out of the blocks this season and this eight-year-old has only found one too good on his last two starts. He should be ready to finally open his account.

I AM ROCCO has made a positive start for this stable and wasn’t disgraced when second to an odds-on favourite at Uttoxeter four weeks ago. I know the winner has been beaten since, but the top-weight is only 3lb higher than last time and this isn’t a strong event. It would come as a surprise if he wasn’t in the mix at the business end.
