Chepstow Place 6 Preview | 12th October

13.32 Champion Equestrian Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Chase

AJP KINGDOM has winning form over this distance and has run well the last twice to suggest he’s going to be in the mix once more. I will also play TO BE SURE, who has no weight on his back and represents a stable in good form, while HOLD YOUR FORT could take some beating if allowed to dictate under Callum Pritchard.

Tips: AJP KINGDOM, TO BE SURE & HOLD YOUR FORT

14.07 DragonBet / EBF Mares’ ‘National Hunt’ Novices’ Hurdle

SETTLE DOWN JILL surely has every chance of getting a first run under her belt. She only found one too good at Market Rasen a fortnight ago and should be able to go one better. If she doesn’t make the most of this opportunity then perhaps NANA NOODLEMAN will capitalise for the team of Sean Bowen and Olly Murphy. The team has dominated the fixture this weekend.

Tips: SETTLE DOWN JILL & NANA NOODLEMAN

14.42 Tom Malone Bloodstock Novices’ Chase (Listed)

The class act in the field BLUEKING D’OROUX is the one to beat on chase debut. He was back on his game when landing a Grade 2 event over hurdles last time out and has the size and scope to be even better over fences. Paul Nicholls’ six-year-old should be able to outclass his opposition with bigger targets to come.

Tips: BLUEKING D’OROUX

15.17 DragonBet ‘Welsh Champion’ Hurdle

TUTTI QUANTI gained some valuable knowledge as a novice last season and did very well by winning twice and placing second twice and can successfully make a handicap debut. Paul Nicholls’ charge only finished out of the frame once when sixth in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle. However, he was a decisive winner at Ffos Las when last seen and is sure to be even stronger this campaign. Great chance.

Tips: TUTTI QUANTI

15.52 DragonBet John Ayres Memorial Handicap Chase

Il Ridoto appears to have strong claims of making a winning return in the John Ayres Memorial Handicap Chase. Last season’s Paddy Power Gold Cup winner is only 4lb higher, so despite not being in the same sort of form in subsequent starts, he’s sure to be fresh and raring to go with conditions in his favour.

Tips: II RIDOTO

16.27 dragonbet.co.uk Born From The Betting Ring Seniors’ Handicap Hurdle

MOVEIT LIKE MINNIE didn’t have much luck last season but he has become well handicapped and placed in a much stronger event off a slightly higher figure back in January at Ascot. I think he’s a serious contender on his return following wind surgery. The other one I like is the race-fit FATHER OF JAZZ, who will be ridden by Harry Cobden and could get the ideal setup.

Tips: MOVEIT LIKE MINNIE & FATHER OF JAZZ
