GOODWOOD GALAXY was found out in the Acomb Staked when last seen but this is less demanding by a large extent and his previous fourth at Goodwood is the best piece of form on offer. If that’s a true reflection of his capabilities, then he should prove difficult to beat.

VOLTERRA is sure to find this easier than when down the field in a French Group 1 last time out and is fancied to get back on track. He beat a Group 1 winner back in October and ran well at Haydock on his penultimate start, so he should be very competitive.

ORIONOS found one too good when a beaten favourite at Salisbury last time out, but she’s eased in grade despite a 3lb higher figure and her trainer does well at this fixture. I think she’s a solid choice to at least make the frame.
