Romford betting tips: Druids Brazona should blitz the field

Syndicate Captain Cheltmental returns to tackle Friday night’s £15,000 Win 8 at Romford. He’s got a very strong feeling for Druids Brazona who has shown plenty to be optimistic about during his Henlow trials. If you agree with his selections, join his Syndicate.

18:27 – 225M – OR

A sprint to start us off here and the class runners are drawn on the outside. CHOPCHOP STAR in Trap 4 has the ability to be involved in these types of races but more often than not appears to need some trouble in behind.

KENTON TEN is probably just ahead of 4 in terms of ranking and, given he’s a September 2017 whelp, he might just have a bit more to come. WALL GARDEN in 6 is the one who should be taking this though.

Last time he didn’t come away as well as he can, which would be the only worry in here. If he does trap, then he’ll prove too good for this field. If anyone is to take advantage of trouble on the outside, then it will be SPITFIRE FLYER in 3 who ran well at a big price on his last start and could lead on the inside.

Selections – 5, 6

18:44 – 225M – OR

The second sprint heat here and it would take a good one to beat BALLYDORGAN DES in 4 who has only just turned two. He shows tremendous early pace and it just made for sprinting.

SLANEYSIDE ONEIL in Trap 1 is well drawn and has had a spin over 4 bends since returning to the track. On his best efforts he has a serious chance but it’s hard to get away from the 4 dog despite the inside trio having the potential to come together at the first.

Selections – 1, 4

19:03 – 400M – OR

Considering this is a Maiden race it actually looks to be a reasonable standard. BEECHVIEW PUMA will look to skip round on the inside but BABY FAYE in 2 wants the rails even more so that pair are likely to come together at some point which should scupper their chances.

BLUE THRILL LAD in 4 is still a puppy so is open to improvement and if he was able to trap a bit better he could well get clear and prove hard to catch.

RACKETHALL ACT & LEMON DEXTER both look quick enough to take this but the latter has more chance to get round the first in front of the former and in doing so maximises his chance.

Selections – 4, 6

19:17 – 400M – OR

Maiden Puppies race up next and this might not be straightforward for DRUIDS BRAZONA in 4 but he does appear to be a potentially very smart recruit for Jason Bloomfield as his two 4 bend trials at Henlow and round here prove.

The only concern with him is the trap draw but if you could ensure he led at the first he’d be a mortgage job. LOOSE CHIPS in 6 has a nice trial time to his name but that came in a solo and he’s struggled in races up to now.

ANOTHER PABLO could be the best draw dog in the race and should lead up DROOPYS POINT again however now drawn on his inside means he should reverse the placings between that pair.

DISTANT SAL in 3 has won both his graded races at Henlow but does have something to find with DRUIDS BRAZONA on the clock.

Selection – 4

19:33 – 400M – OR

First heat of the 400M standard now and it looks a great opportunity for BUBBLY SPARK to notch up a hat-trick. He should be able to lead this lot and in doing so would look almost unbeatable.

HEADFORD DANNY would be the danger in my eyes and if he could come away a bit better than he has done recently he could get close to running down the 5 dog.

Selections – 5, 3

19:49 – 400M – OR

Heat 2 of the 400M competition sees a potential abundance of early pace. SWIFT SABBATH in 6 has to lead to win but when he does, he’s very quick. NOT SO LENTO on his inside is also blessed with plenty of early and is consistently quick to the bend here so the pair might be each other’s undoing.

The inside trio can all break 3.80 into the line from the lids but the draw appears to look tough for HAVE A BRANDY in 2 who is probably the quickest of them.

RACKITUPCHARLIE has run well in defeat round here and much like 6, if he were to lead, he’d be very hard to peg back. This certainly looks one of the trickier legs on the card, but I’d be happy enough with the bookends and a bit of luck.

Selections – 1, 6

20:06 – 400M – OR

Heat 3 would be worthy of the competition final and, looking at the draw, I think the three runners who faced off earlier this month will provide the winner. BUBBLY BUSTER in 1 took the race that day when beating ARGENTINA who was sent off favourite that day.

TIFFIELD BLUEBOY suffered a rough in the race and ultimately finished 4th but while he’s drawn outside BUBBLY BUSTER and will need some luck he’s a definite danger on the clock.

If DOWER TYSON can ping the lids like the last day then he drawn to be a danger to all.

Selections – 1, 2, 6

20:21 – 575M – OR

The lucky last for the Win 8 contains the 1st Semi Final of the Coronation Cup and three of the six runners were sent off odds on favourites in their respective heats.

ANTIGUA RUM in 6 looks to be the best drawn runner here and with no SPARTA MASTER to contend with he should be involved at the business end. ROXHOLME JIM in 2 looks to be very well drawn too as he’ll look to lead and kick clear. On the clock he might find a few closing in the latter stages and if DESPERADO DAN in 4 would avoid trouble he’ll be capable of landing this.

ROMAN EMPIRE on the rail is quick enough to take this and should he come away from the traps in slightly better fashion, could run into the lead down the back straight but is liable to find some trouble when trying to pass ROXHOLME JIM.

Selections – 1, 2, 4, 6
