Peter O’Rourke’s Pick 8 Rollover Preview

A nice crop of midweek Premier League fixtures have appeared and we’ve decided to create a Pick 8 Rollover for our punters.

Here is Pete O’Rourke’s preview for the Rollover, you can get involved with his Syndicate here: http://bit.ly/2Bg8R7D

Leicester v Tottenham – 2

Tottenham will be looking to climb back into the top four with victory at Leicester and Mauricio Pochettino’s men have been in excellent form away from home so they should take the three points in what could be a high-scoring encounter.

Brighton v Crystal Palace – 1/X

Brighton could count themselves unlucky not to take anything from their trip to Manchester United at the weekend and they have been strong at home since losing to Manchester City on the opening day. Crystal Palace earned a much-needed win against Stoke on Saturday and they will be looking to build on that to boost their survival hopes. This should be a close game with home advantage maybe swinging it for Brighton.

Watford v Man Utd – X/2

Watford continue to produce heroics this season with an impressive 3-0 win at Newcastle, while Manchester United laboured to a 1-0 home win over Brighton. Jose Mourinho knows his side cannot afford to drop any points if they are to mount a challenge for the title and they should just about edge this one.

West Brom v Newcastle – 1/X

Managerless West Brom picked up a surprise draw against Tottenham at the weekend and they will be hoping to earn a long overdue win against Newcastle. Newcastle have lost their last four games and Rafa Benitez will be seeking to end that slide quickly or they could find themselves dragged into a relegation dogfight.

Reading v Barnsley – 1X

Reading and Barnsley are just six points above the relegation dropzone ahead of a crucial meeting between both sides. Reading have struggled to repeat the form which saw them reach the play-off final last season and they will be keen to sort out their disappointing home form against Barnsley.

Everton v West Ham – 1X2

David Moyes returns to Everton looking to pile the misery on his old club and lift West Ham out of the bottom three. Everton’s confidence appears lower than a snake’s belly after the 4-1 defeat to Southampton, while Moyes picked up his first point as West Ham manager in the 1-1 draw with Leicester. This game is a hard one to call as both sides are so inconsistent.

Stoke v Liverpool – X2

Stoke normally make life difficult for Liverpool when on home soil and they need to start picking up points to climb clear of trouble at the wrong end of the table. Liverpool missed the chance to move into the top four on Saturday and Jurgen Klopp will be looking for his side to get back to winning ways.

Man City v Southampton – 1

Manchester City are just breaking record after record right now and Southampton are the next team to try and stop Pep Guardiola’s runaway leaders. City are playing with the swagger of champions and although Southampton got a morale-boosting win against Everton on Sunday they won’t be able to cope with City right now.
