Following their capitulation to Crystal Palace at the weekend in which the club captain, Granit Xhaka, swore at the home fans, it’s fair to say that Arsenal are a club in crisis. They had a chance to make amends against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday but, despite leading 3-1, 4-2 and 5-4, The Gunners snatched defeat from the jaws of victory yet again, eventually drawing 5-5 before losing on penalties.
