Halloween is upon us. Before the weekend’s Premier League action gets underway with FNF (Fright Night Football), we wanted to put a chill down your spine with our Halloween themed Premier League football XI. So check out our spook-tacular side which we think would give any opponent hell.

GK – David de Slayer
Once a hero of the Red Devils, some of the Spaniard’s performances have been giving Manchester United fans nightmares in recent seasons.
DF – Patrick-or-treat Van Aanholt
Having faced off aganst a real life monster recently in Katie Hopkins, nothing can give Van Aanholt the shivers this Halloween!
DF – Antonio Boo-diger
Makes the cut despite being left out of Chelsea’s team recently, after letting far too many opposition forwards ghost past him.
DF – Virgil Fang-Dijk
Striking fear into the hearts of strikers around the land, his only real weakness is an obvious fear of crosses.
DF – Vile Walker
The Manchester City full-back will be hoping to enjoy Halloween weekend after suffering a Hammer horror against David Moyes’ band of misfits last weekend.
MF – Ra-Scream Sterling
Hasn’t been in top form recently but it wasn’t that long ago the biggest clubs were dying to sign Sterling and plenty of Premier League sides are still haunted by his memory.
MF – Mateo Kova-witch
Not known for flying forward, there’s still plenty of broom in our midfield for the tough-cackling Croatian.
MF – James Ward-Horror House
Usually known as a Saint, the combative midfielder will hope to put his opponents to the sword this Halloween in our football XI.
MF – Jack Ghoul-ish
After keeping Villa up and forcing his way into Gareth Southgate’s England squad, the last six months will really have lifted his spirits.
FW – Gabri-hell Jesus
Comes into the team after a recent injury lay off, the only question over Jesus is his fitness. Will need to prove himself by exorcising as much as he can.
FW – Harry Slain
All eyes will rest on the England Captain as our best hope for scoring ghouls in our Halloween football XI.
