Fallon Sherrock unveils brand new darts pools at Colossus

We’re delighted to announce that Colossus are launching brand new darts pools ahead of the 2020 PDC Darts Premier League!

Beginning on Week 1 of the Premier League, which takes place in Aberdeen, we will offer weekly Correct Score pools, challenging our players to predict the outcomes of each game. Naturally our usual huge jackpots will be up for grabs, and you’ll be able to take advantage of our great features like Syndicates and Cash Out.

Joining us on the road to the Premier League is darts superstar Fallon Sherrock, who made history in December by becoming the first female player in history to win a match at the PDC World Championships.

Fallon accomplished the feat in the first round, where she held her nerve to overcome the talented Ted Evetts in a tense final set decider, as an enthralled Ally Pally cheered on her every dart.

The achievement made headlines around the world and led to a host of celebrities congratulating Fallon. However, the best was yet to come and Fallon backed up the victory by winning her second round match as well, this time shocking world number 11 Mensur Suljovic 3-1.

Unfortunately the fairytale ended in the third round, as Fallon lost out to Chris Dobey. However, in becoming the first woman to win, not only one, but two matches at the prestigious event, she has permanently changed the face of womens’ darts, and of darts in general.

If achieving that ‘first’ wasn’t enough for Fallon, it was soon announced that she would be one of the nine wildcard players to feature in the 2020 Darts Premier League.

Appearing in week two, when the action travels to Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena, Milton Keynes-based Fallon will hope to enhance her growing reputation in the game even further by taking out yet another one of the world’s top players. The only question is, who will she get?

The regular season players in this year’s PDC Darts Premier League are; Michael van Gerwen, Gary Anderson, Rob Cross, Michael Smith, Peter Wright, Gerwen Price, Nathan Aspinall, Glen Durrant and Daryl Gurney.

The wildcards, other than Fallon, are John Henderson, Jonny Clayton, William O’Connor, Luke Humphries, Stephen Bunting, Chris Dobey, Jeffrey de Zwaan and Jermaine Wattimena.

So keep an eye out for our brand new darts pools appearing on site as we get closer to Premier League launch night. When you do see them, make sure you step up to the oche and have a go!
